Women in Mining Business South Africa (WiMBIZ) was founded in 2021 by a group of forward-looking women who heeded the call of industry patrons to form an organisation that represents the interest of women entrepreneurs in mining.

Founded solely with the purpose to provide a platform for women entrepreneurs to unilaterally access opportunities across the mining value chain, today WiMBIZ has a membership base of 300+ women, of which majority of these are women running their own businesses in the industry.

This is coupled with alliance partnerships with industry leaders such as Women in Mining South Africa (WIMSA), Rosond, ASPASA, Exxaro and media partner, Affiniti Magazine.
